QA Automation Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to design and scale our automated testing so we can ship faster without breaking things. You'll build robust test frameworks, automate regression and API testing, and embed quality into our CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Write and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
- Automate functional, regression, and integration test suites.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar).
- Perform API testing and validation (Postman, REST Assured, or pytest-based).
- Analyze results, report defects, and collaborate with developers on root cause.
- Contribute to test strategy and improve coverage, stability, and execution speed.
Required Skills
- 3–6 years in QA with strong hands-on test automation.
- Proficiency in an automation stack (Selenium/Playwright/Cypress) and a scripting language (Python or JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of API testing and frameworks like pytest.
- Experience integrating tests into CI/CD.
- Strong grasp of SDLC/STLC and Agile delivery.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with performance testing (JMeter/k6) or mobile automation (Appium).
- Familiarity with Docker and cloud test environments.
- Exposure to testing AI/LLM-based applications.
